Camp Moment

“Ew the wet soggy grass is oozing through my shoes”.

I stare at the bikes waiting to get on them, eventually that is exactly what happened, we got on the bikes. As I'm riding around the trees I see sand and mud spring up at me. While riding with my group we go around by the flying kiwi as they zoom up in the air.

We get back the instructor puts the ramps down. I was so excited! We went all around the ramps that also means the see-saw. Everyone was good at it  racing around over the ramps and it felt like i was flying.

I'm standing in front of a windy snowy forest as I slowly hike I  hear the crunch of my footsteps. As I'm  getting deeper I feel the soft bouncy snow on my feet. The trees look frosty as I'm getting deeper. The frosty dark trees cover me with their shadow as I see old grass poking through the snow. I want to go deeper but I'm so scared in my heart.  I keep on going. Just as I think I'm at the middle of the forest I'm actually at the end and I see a big bright light. I run towards it and I see the blue sky. At the end there is a log cabin and the log cabin is covered in snow. It looks new and neat. As I slowly open the door I smell chocolate cake.
